Ms. Severino has been employed by Busch, Zurbuch & Thompson in the litigation practice since 1991. She received her certified paralegal designation by examination in May 1994 from the National Association of Legal Assistants. Ms. Severino is involved in all areas of case development.

Ms. Severino is a paralegal member of Defense Trial Counsel and was a member of the former Association of West Virginia Paralegals, Inc., an affiliate of National Association of Legal Assistants, where she served multiple terms as the Region III Director.

Ms. Severino was the recipient of the 2006 AWVP President’s Award. Ms. Severino has co-authored an article on the effective use of paralegals in The West Virginia Lawyer and has been a speaker at Region III meetings regarding the legal assistant’s role during jury selection and the effective use of trial exhibits.

Ms. Severino graduated from Alderson-Broaddus College in 1991 where she received a Bachelor of Science in business administration. Ms. Severino received the Business Administration and Economics Academic Award.
